Mabel’s Misfits is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is committed to the conservation and education of wildlife within the community.
We envision a world where people and animals coexist in harmony, where every misfit, wild or tame, has a place to belong. Mabel’s Misfits seeks to become a model for community-based conservation and compassion: a sanctuary where healing happens through connection, where ecosystems are restored with care, and where people of all ages are inspired to protect, learn from, and live in balance with the natural world.
We believe that our mission is impactful. Helping everyone to be actively involved with restoring and creating a safe haven for our local wildlife. Bringing people of all ages and abilities together through community outreach and fun activities.
Mabel’s Misfits also rescues small animals that are often overlooked. Giving them a second chance at a happy life. We believe that empathy and compassion are taught through caring for everything and everyone around us.
